At the days surrounding the end of one year and the beginning of the next year, John Piper leads his congregation in what Bethlehem Baptist calls "Prayer Week".
This is a time when he exhorts them to a life that is built upon and grows prayer. Not for the sake of health, wealth, and prosperity, but rather for the glory of God.
The people who know what it means to truly pray according to God's will, and do what it takes to consistently be people of prayer, are the people whose lives are wonderful testimonies to the rich blessing of God's grace.
These are people of who it can be said "They abide in Christ and Christ in them!".
If you go over to Desiring God, you can find many of the messages given at these times.
I have been enjoying some and thought I'd share them with you!
