That's Not All

Yesterday many of us took the time to gather with friends and family to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

For God's people, remembering that very special day is one of the most important times of the year.

Anyone can be born.

Anyone can live.

Anyone can die.

But, Jesus is the only one who rose from the dead by His own power.

He was born, He lived, He died, and He rose again!

The sins of all God's people were taken care of because of the sacrifice that Jesus made. He gave up His place in heaven so that His people could be saved from the wrath of God that justice requires.

That's not all.

He died to make the name and power and mercy and love and work of God known!

Because of His life, death, and resurrection we too can be risen from the deadness our sins bring upon us.

For God's people, Christ's death and resurrection is LIFE!

But that's not all....

As with our physical birth, our being born again is only the beginning of life.

We now walk in the newness of life.

By the work of God (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit) in our lives, we now live to make the name and power and mercy and love and work of God known.
